"The Living Legend" Script by Roger Stern. Art by John Byrne. Cover by Frank Miller and Joe Rubinstein. The origin of Captain America is retold with new details. 40th anniversary issue. Cameo appearance by President Roosevelt. (Notes: The art for each page is printed directly from John Byrne's pencils, except the final page which was inked by Joe Rubinstein.
