Panels 1 & 2: Kaare Andrews
I commissioned Kaare Andrews at Motor City Con to contribute a panel to page 2 of this story, but he had to leave the convention early. After the show, we talked about what he might do instead, since he didn't have the piece with him. He surprised me with a new page and TWO panels! Now I just have to stitch it into the existing story.
Brian Level was perfect for bringing the intensity and energy needed to follow up what came before him. The panel is kinetic and insane and I have no idea how he blurred Logan's head like that. I just know he's awesome.
I lucked into getting Daniel Warren Johnson at a show where he opened up some very affordable commission slots for smaller pieces. He was willing to take this on, and told me he was going to ratchet up the gore. When I saw him later, before it was done, he said "I'll only tell you three words. 'By a thread'" He told me he and Felix (Lu, his art rep) debated about whether the eyeball gore was too muted by his screentones. I'd have been happy either way, but it's creepy as heck.
