DescriptionA very nice & splashy Vigilante page from impeccable storyteller Rick Leonardi with John Stanisci on inks.You don’t need words to understand the action here which means the artists have done their job. The Vigilante and Batman see the gun under the truck, the Vigilante goes for it and come from the other side as the Bat goes after him. A perfectly rhythmed page. The way mr Leonardi decomposed Batman’s jump over the truck is the main attraction here. Pay attention on the way mr Leonardi drew the Bat during his jump, his body language and position. Everything looks realistic as well as being extremely dynamic. The inks by Stanisci are an interesting combination over Leonardi here. They add much more grit to his pencils at a time when mr Leonard’as art has become looser. If I had to think theoretically, I wouldn’t have easily paired them but from the result, it works quite well imho. Social/Sharing |
