Go Nagai is a cultural icon. He spearheaded the jumbo machinder genre with Mazinger, then pioneered adult-oriented action anime with Devilman. But Cutie Honey has had perhaps the most lasting impression among his creations for its influence on the female action heroes that followed.

This cel shows the lead character, Cutie Honey, in 3/4 profile. Some anime enthusiasts consider this series to be the best adaptation of Go Nagai's works. Art direction by Nobuto Sakamoto. Cel vinyl paint on clear acrylic 10.5x9.5" cel comes with a fully painted background and two colored pencil and graphite on paper dougas (one of the lead character, and one of the background), but also with an additional production xerox showcasing multi-figure composition against the same background.
