Description
With his nearly six-decade career, Ferdinando Tacconi (Milan, 1922-2006) was one of the undisputed masters of Italian comics.
He also was an appreciated illustrator, cover artist and painter.
This striking image of Coppola's Godfather was part of a series of 14 illustrations devoted to Academy Award-winning movies he did in 1993 and 1994, for the Italian magazine "Il Giornalino".

(mixed media on heavy board, roughly 10"x 14" - signed)
