Description

I had heard from a fellow collector that Bernie moved to Woodstock and was looking for a fan to help him build a studio. I wrote him a letter, he invited me to his house, and we became friends. This photo was taken on a visit to Harvey Fite's monumental stone work OPUS 40, which is not far form Bernie's. I did help him build the studio.

There is an inscription to me from Bernie mentioning this day on the original of "One Too Many" page 2, posted elsewhere on comicartfans: https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=901501
