DescriptionMike Lilly did a couple of hundred sketch cards* for the Revenge of the Sith trading card set released by Topps. Among the characters he drew was General Grievous. Since he already had experience rendering this very detailed character, I decided to ask Mike if he wanted to do a drawing of Grievous in my SW sketchbook. He agreed, and did a head shot of Grievous, with two of his lightsabres crossed in front of him. Sitting next to Mike at the NYC Comicon was Bob Almond, former collaborator with Sal Velluto on Black Panther, who currently inks Mike's pencils on Vampirella. Bob offered to ink Mike's sketch, and spent the next hour and a half doing some very detailed finishes. Both Mike and Bob did a great job on this one.
