DescriptionI loved the classic space-costume and Gene Colans + Don Hecks art in the first issues ("Marvel Superheroes" #12+13, then "Captain Marvel" #1-9 and #16, although the Stan Lee, Arnold Drake, etc.. written stories were extremely lame compared to other Marvel titles at that time, the new costume came in issue 16, Roy Thomas + Gil Kane took over with #17, then Jim Starlin with #25 in 1973). Tommy, a stellar Bronze Age Captain Marvel splash! Don Heck's short run on Captain Marvel was nothing short of spectacular! Congrats on getting a great example of Heck's great work!
