DescriptionONE OF ONLY FOUR COMPLETE COVER ART ILLUSTRATIONS THAT STILL EXIST BY GIL COHEN. ALL THE OTHERS ARE EITHER NOT SIGNED, HAVE BEEN REPAINTED OR ARE ONLY PARTIAL COVERS.AND FURTHER, THIS IS ONE OF THE ORIGINALS THAT WAS SOLD IN THE BIN IN THE PHILADELPHIA HARDWARE STORE THAT HIS BROTHER SOLD FOR HIM IN THE 1970's!! FINALLY, THIS IS A DOUBLE PIECE OF ART, WITH EACH ART PIECE BEING THE SIZE OF A NORMAL ART PIECE! UNFORTUNATELY THESE GENERALLY GET CUT INTO TWO PIECES. SO SAD. Social/Sharing |

David O' Dell has some wonderful Norem pieces on Comic Art Fans. His collection of Men's adventure magazines is second to none. And while your at it check out my George Wilsons Gold Key comic covers. Ha.Ha. Must go take my babble medicine now. Sincerely, Ashley Batchelor ps they are both very difficult to find. Take at look at Heritage Auctions if you get a chance. Mr. Cohen, Mr. Norem, Mr. Bruce Minney, Mr. Mort Kunstler, and Mr. Samson Pollen(and so as not to make others mad, Mr. Eastman) produced thousands of these wonderful very large art works in the 1960's and 1970's and many were just destroyed, because everyone laughed at the magazines in the 90's and forward. But the art is second to none.
