Description

Among the different changes in characters for the commissions I was waiting on from Levy, this idea I clung to harder than the others. "Goosebumps" is not a fandom the two of us share, but I've really wanted to add her to art to my collection of Goosebumps characters so I saved the main characters from my favorite entry in the series.

Harry and Alex are brothers from book 45, "Ghost Camp." The two are spending the later half of the summer at Camp Spirit Moon and are the only newbie campers this season. As such, the veteran campers pull a lot of jokes on the brothers, but these jokes include stabbing themselves with utensils and pretending to drown. It's not long before the Altmans learn they're the only living people in the entire camp, and the rest of the kids want to use their bodies to escape the grounds.

Harry and Alex are pretty great for Goosebumps protagonists because they aren't as frustrating and annoying as the characters tend to be. They're brothers, but they're only a year apart which might be why they don't argue or annoy each other too much.

I asked Vi to put them in a campfire setting, and I decided since their race wasn't really focused on, I asked for them to be Native American. God knows the Goosebumps books could use some diversity.

Previously, I commissioned Damian O'Daley to do a small piece to use as character reference.
