Description
Cecil Doughty. The Men Who Built Britain: Miracle at Midnight. In 1811 landscape gardner and architect Humphrey Repton was seriously injured in a coach crash. He had designed various gardens around the UK including Blaise Castle, Woburn Abbey and the Royal Pavillion. Confined to a wheelchair he died just 7 years later. Look and Learn no. 611 (29 September 1973).
