Description

Steve Rude and Gary Martin Nexus: The Origin #1 Story Page 31 Original Art (Dark Horse, 1992). This issue counts as Nexus #81 in the "whole-numbering system". It ran between the end of the First Comics series and before the first Dark Horse mini-series (Alien Justice). This page is a compressed and concise retelling of pages 17 and 18 from the black and white Nexus magazine from Capital Comics in 1981. It was the point when readers first heard the line "...I act in self-defense." A masterpiece in black and white, it was created in ink (with a touch of Zipatone) over graphite on 11" x 17" DC Bristol board. Slight toning, in Excellent condition.
