*HEATH LEDGER JOKER: A modern fan favorite version of the Joker comes from the memorable final performance of the amazing Heath Ledger in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight film! Even though it personally didn't feel like the "true" joker to me (the way he spoke, cut-up face and messy make-up, the greasy hair and dirty "hobo" version of his outfit, rather than the dapper and smooth classic Joker I've always known and loved), as its own thing the performance was truly brilliant and unique, and Heath Ledger will forever remain sorely missed...
