The house ad for Marvel Two in One 75, the double-sized 'event' issue pitting the Thing and the Avengers against Blastaar, Annihilus, and the Super Adaptoid, is a long-time, personal favorite. With an Aunt Petunia reference, a fleet of spaceships, and a superhero melee, it is a half page master class in how to sell a comic book. No surprise, then, that I asked the uber-talented Val Semeiks for his take on this four colour classic. As I said to Val, my expression of thrilled amazement when I saw the completed drawing matched the one on the Thing's face. My thanks to Val for yet another exemplary commission experience.

The ad sold me back in the day, I had to hunt down MTIO after seeing it in another comic. Great re-imagining
