Description

Way back in 2010, someone reached out to me notifying me of this piece by Philip. Unfortunately, by the time I went for it, it was sold. It has always been in the back of my mind all of these years. I had searched without success. It was gone.

Over the years, I have commissioned pieces by Philip and we�ve become friends. He�s not only an fantastic artist but more importantly, a good guy.

Flash forward to a few weeks ago when friends notified me that the piece I missed out on years ago was up on eBay for sale. Unfortunately, timing was bad and I wasn�t in a position to try for it. I had to let it go and maybe hope that whoever bought it, posted it so I knew it's whereabouts.

Last week, I received a note from a friend. He asked for my address because he, "had something for me. It belongs in your gallery� and sent me a picture. I was floored. I offered to send him the money but he refused. Just amazing.

There are some good people out there.

With that, I say thank you. I truly appreciate your gift and thoughtfulness.
