This fabulous cover comes from the midpoint of legendary paperback cover artist Robert Maguire's 50 year career, and it is truly a bridge between the art he did during the first and second halves, as with this example, he employed the more photorealistic style that would embody a large portion of his last 25 years, but with a beautiful ode to his first quarter century, by adding in three classic "Maguire Girls" that appear to have come off of the covers to any of Maguire's 50's or 60's paperback covers!
