From a “A Place In Between” story by Rafael Albuquerque

I always liked the BATMAN BLACK AND WHITE series. Even if in terms of art and story quality, some contributions are stronger than others

When it came out the opportunity to acquire a page of a story that I particularly liked and by an artist that I have always admired, I jumped on it! I think Rafael Albuquerque did a great job exploring Batman’s psyche in his short story

Unfortunately, I don’t have a good scan of the piece, but this last panel, of Batman defeating Dr. Crane, aka The Scarecrow, is incredibly powerful! Albuquerque’s shading remains second to none
