Description
Gah! Well I guess it's not a viking story if no one loses an eye. Love how cinematic this book is. Here the camera pulls back to show the grisly and silent aftermath of battle with only the ravens left pecking and circling. A small detail here is that Vif is the only one of the fallen with her hand still wrapped around her sword even in death.
