DescriptionI can't post a Star Wars piece without a bit of nostalgia. When Return of the Jedi came out my brother and I were around the perfect young age for it and twice walked to the local small town cinema for marathons of all three movies. It was a sleepy place and as usual we were almost the only ones there. My job at interval was to use the cinema phone to ring home and report we hadn't been abducted while my brother got to climb the skinny stairs to the projector room and watch the next movie being set up (I'm still envious). My brother's never read a comic in his life but has collected movie posters ever since the cinema owner gave him an Empire Strikes Back poster from storage at around this same time. We were movie addicts as kids together and, even though we now live far apart and are terrible at keeping in touch, my brother still contacted me just to talk about The Last Jedi. Anyway, first Star Wars thing in my collection and I just loved this cover when I saw it. Luke with all swishy cape and laser-sword and faceless techno-priest type characters in the background. The cover hints at the focus on facing the dark side that's covered in this issue which fits visually into the rest of my collection too.Social/Sharing |

This is a really nice cover. The design, the inks, the use of whites. It is only rivaled by the commentary.
