Clayface I (Basil Karlo) by Simon Fraser

I was surprised to see Simon at MoCCA Fest today so I wasn't sure what kind of sketch to get from him. I'd been planning on the possibility of getting a Clayface sketch for a future recap at Point Horror and after seeing some of the art he had at his table I thought this'd be a perfect fit for him.

I don't talk about it much but the Clayfaces are my favorite Batman villains, especially the Golden Age version. What draws me to Basil Karlo is the knowledge he was based on famous horror actors like Boris Karloff and Basil Rathbone, even if he didn't have the shapeshifting abilities of Matt Hagen.
