Description

So here's how this came about.

I've known of Karl Steven's artwork since Boston Comic Con 2011, and while I never met him at the show, his style was distinct enough it continued to capture my attention whenever he happened to be at shows in my area. I met him for the first time at MoCCA Fest last week and managed to get a quick sketch from him, but it was smaller than I expected so I turned this into a jam piece. It made more sense to use up the extra page space. I got two more sketches at Big Apple Con today.

1. Mama Spank by Karl Stevens: One of several villains suspected of the smear campaign orchestrated against Winged Victory. W.V. explains this villain had a thing for psychological abuse and humiliation, but hasn't been seen in years. She definitely gives off an "Evil Matriarch" feel.
2. Karnazon by Reilly Brown: The actual villain behind the Winged Victory smear campaign, he started off doing stuff like robbing banks and Fort Knox before he moved on to abusing and degrading women to prove his male superiority. I felt it'd be appropriate for him to spout out some mens rights crap.
3. Andro by Sean Chen: One of the other candidates for the smear campaign against Winged Victory, he appears to be some sort of robotic villain but nothing much was said about him. Sean did an amazing job with the detailing on the eye circuitry.
