Dark Phoenix / Jean Grey - Greg Land

Hell yes!!! So happy to have met Greg Land and his lovely wife at FAN EXPO Dallas. I emailed him before the con and requested a Dark Phoenix, but threw out a suggestion for a pose. He said he liked the idea and went with it. Jean Grey in her Dark Phoenix outfit on a throne-like Hellfire Club chair with a glass of wine and a mischievous look on her face, a la his Uncanny X-Men 12 cover of Hellfire Club Magneto. Needless to say, I was thrilled he liked the idea and ran with it. I love the addition of the two Phoenix heads as the chair's armrests. He went above and beyond on this piece, in my opinion. It was such a pleasure to meet him and find him to be just a genuinely nice guy.
