My fifth commission from this talented artist, this time depicting a Laura inspired by the NYX series. She appears to be sitting on a street corner, covering up the evidence of recent self-harming while looking up at someone. It could be anyone, her eyes don't give it away. It could be her pimp or a john, another person in the long line of people looking to take advantage of her. Or it could be a concerned passer-by, a friend or maybe Logan coming to rescue her?

I love the colors in this painting and the simple background sets a nice atmosphere. A very evocative piece.
