Firestorm traps Captain Atom inside of a molecular bubble from which he cannot escape. The Captain is desperate to prevent the Manhunter bomb from exploding, but he also needs Firestorm's help.
The two talk with one another at great length and Atom tries to convince him that the Manhunters are not his creators. Firestorm discovers that Captain Atom has been dishonest about his true role in the super-hero community, that he is actually a government agent. Atom convinces him that sometimes a person has to act on gut instinct rather than on logic. He convinces Firestorm that the Manhunters are evil.
I live this page for many reasons. One, the crossover. Two, it has two of Brodericks signature characters in one place. And three, that fantastic image of Firestorm in panel two.
