Toné Specter Looney Tunes #8 Cover Image (Gold Key/Specter Art Enterprises, 1976). Toné Specter is a penname for Tony DiPaola who did quite a large amount of work for Western/Gold Key. It is easily possible that he inked this original for publication, then altered it as you see here. Although this piece is dated April 1975, the cover was not published until June of 1976. The logo is different, but the image is essentially the same. Nice work. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of approximately 10" x 15". This has then been attached to an illustration board, which in turn has had Bristol board attached to the backside of that. Overall tanning, some whiteout corrections. In Excellent condition.
