In itself, I have a distinct memory of the red red red energy signature here as it washed across the page. Were it published now, it would be a photoshop lens flair but here it was pencil, ink and the apt coloring skills of Kevin Somers.

But really, the art of this particular page is the energy and technique of master artist John Paul Leon and inker Shawn Martinbrough. It's my only piece by JP and I treasure it.
