Invincible artist Ryan Ottley had to chance to illustrate characters from another Robert Kirkman title, The Walking Dead, on this variant cover to The Walking Dead #100, one of several variants celebrating the milestone anniversary issue for one of the most popular comic book titles of the Modern Era. The cover features one of the most popular characters in the series, Michonne, battling the horrific walkers. Michonne first appeared in The Walking Dead #19.

The Walking Dead began as a comic book series in 2003 and has developed into one of the biggest pop culture phenomenons of all time. The TV series, which began in 2010, remains one of the most watched show on TV among the coveted 18-49 year old demographic and will likely run for several more years. The comic book remains one of the top sellers in the industry as well.

Ryan Ottley is best known for his work with Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead on Kirkman's other long-term comic book title, Invincible. He drew 127 issues of the series over a 14-year period.
