A whole generation of Wolverine fans were blown away when this issue hit the stands -- most nineties fans were too young to know Barry Smith's earlier work on The X-Men et. al., and Marvel picked the perfect showcase for the artist's stunning talent. The mutant known as Logan stars in this haunting cover scene for the landmark tale, "Weapon X Chapter 1." This Marvel milestone, which provided so many plot elements to the hit X-Men film in 2000, has an image area of 10" x 15.5", and the art is in Excellent condition.
