Victoria Ying art display Fremont Main Library May 2018

      Victoria Ying is an author and illustrator. In the last couple years, she illustrated her brother Johnathan's Not Quite Black and White and Lost and Found, What's That Sound?. Meow, released in October, is entirely her own work. She worked at Disney Feature Animation on Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, and Big Hero 6. Victoria illustrated the Little Golden Books for Tangled and Big Hero 6. Tom and Tony Bancroft interviewed her on The Bancroft Brothers Animation Podcast: Designing a Disney Film, The Victoria Ying interview sponsored by my brother's Stuart Ng Books. She was one of the six artists featured in the Lovely: Girls of Animation Collaborative Art Book. The pieces are a Big Hero 6 Baymax watercolor and The Reader watercolor.
