Wood created a page of visceral impact.
Wood was so good and so versatile. War, Science Fiction, Humor, Horror-he could do it all and do it as well as anyone who specialized in just one genre. Great example of his mastery of the form.
Terrifying, going from elation to horrible death so quickly. Huge congrats!
