I'm glad you were able to add this great vintage cover, nice!
Great pick-up Robert! I think the pouting woman at bottom right is the Ultimate Scarlet Witch. The group at the left looks like Squadron Supreme, so alternate versions within alternate versions!
Thank YOU for the great mystery sketch, I love it!
I think this is from the Fables #52 back-up Gene did. Rapunzel getting a hair-cut. Still cool!
It did, I got my copy signed by Wrigthson. Missed out on Ditko and Len Wein though.
Thanks Malvin, I on the other hand threw caution to the wind, but no regrets!
Yes it was done at the show, and he came up with a great gag!
Exactly what I was thinking when I requested this character. Mike said he had a blast (so to speak) drawing her.
The page has no residue or discoloration, so I'm guessing tones went on stats if it's on those origianl comics.
Great piece! Like ABC's version of an epic crossover. Congrats!
This series is still one of my favorites, and this is a perfect cover.
Agreed, it had no business looking as good as it did with what he must have had to work with back then!
This looks great, I love the zipatone. (I was hoping this would still be in his portfolio at a June show, I snoozed and lost!) Congrats!
This is a great piece, I agree it really holds together for a jam piece.
I was on the look-out since Yuko posted it last summer (it might have actually been in the background of a post)!
I was really looking forward to this, thanks to this piece. Such a loss, RIP Mr. Sala.
Probably my favorite cover from the Marvel series. Congratulations on the score!
3 issue anthology with lots of big name talent, that I somehow missed when published in 1998.
ooh, that's a good one! Congratulations.
Image did, hopefully more are coming. I just purchased this from him at a show June 2015.
It's one of my favorites too. Thanks for sharing your collection.
I love Cassaday's use of shadows on faces, and this is a great example!
This is great. I have the poster hanging on my wall I liked it so much. Congratulations.
I had my eye on this too. Did you notice it looks like the title page (I think) of issue 3 of that mini series? Congrats!
I agree, it's a bummer about fading, but it does look pretty cool and appropriate to the subject. Either way, I'm jealous!
Very nice, I love new approaches to soviet propaganda style posters.
Great piece. Best of both worlds was my first thought too.
