Description

Don Rosa attended Comicpalooza in Houston in 2014. As is common for Don, he sketched for free. I chose Scrooge McDuck.

I mostly wanted to visit and get my copy of The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck signed. It's a brilliant work; he combined all of the snippets of Carl Barks' Scrooge backstory into one comprehensive and beautifully illustrated biography of the old duck.

I first encountered Don in the page of the RBCC and was surprised years (decades?) later that he'd been busy with the Ducks - 100 stories more or less.

P.S., I don't know why I never posted this. I quite like it. I noticed it was missing when I clicked on my "Don Rosa" collection and noticed it wasn't there. Fixed!

Excellent work and a good guy.
