Description
The Frost Giants have stormed the home of Loki, seeking to capture Loki's prisoner Iceman[1] so that they can exploit his powers to boost their strength. Loki tries to fend them off, but soon realizes that his attempts to restore their original heights using Iceman's powers have actually driven them mad and Loki flees.

From Walt Simonson's legendary run on Thor comes this beautiful piece featuring Loki.
While Buscema's style lacks subtlety it's impeccably detailed and action packed. His Loki is a classic design as well as beautifully rendered.

Despite the editorial decision to have him ape Walt's style (which he did very well) rather than his own, his run on Thor after Walt gave up the art chores is one of my favorites from Sal's career. I think getting to see him ink himself was part of the charm that allowed him to carry it off.

I am a big fan of classic Sal Buscema, but I also dig the style he adopted on Thor and Spider-Man.  I think this page has plenty of subtlety (ouch that is difficult to spell!)
