Pencil on 11' x 17" comic art bristol, image area approx. 9.5" x 14.5". Talks with other collectors bring up some interesting philosophies, including the 'one and done' idea, where a single piece that covers the right criteria is enough to satisfy the urge for a given artist. I'm not a believer in it myself, as it's rare to come across that one page that says it all; plus, with an artist like JA, there's so much great stuff to appreciate in his work, the 'all you can eat buffet' mentality seems more appropriate. The sketchbooks of his art are great, but personally I'm hoping for an IDW Artist Edition type volume to really showcase the quality of the pencils.
