Gorgeous painting by Alfonso Azpiri for the cover of a Ulysses video game! I love this image of the Greek Warrior Ulysses as he ponders the journey he has been on from Troy to Ithaca. I imagine, from the painting that the video game takes us on his journey. I love the small figure of the Greek warrior attacking a monster. But perhaps the story also tells us of his struggle to get back to his wife, Penelope, and her troubles keeping suitors at bay. At least, those are the impressions I get looking at this video game cover. I love Azpiri's art here.. The images are sharp and clearly defined and the colors rich and luminous. Wonderful painting for your terrific collection.
