I'm a huge Joe Quesada fan and fell in love with this cover!Check it: Featuring Al Kraven (Alyosha Kravinoff) who first appeared in the pages of Spectacular Spider-Man #243 (1997). He's the mutant son of Kraven the Hunter. In addition to his responsibilities as Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment, Joe Quesada still finds time to work on special projects as an artist. Quesada created this portrait cover for Spider-Man: Get Kraven #3 (2002). It features Al Kraven (Aloysha Kravinoff) and is a homage to the movie poster for the 1983 film Scarface. Quesada did all of the covers for the six-issue mini-series and each one is a tribute to a different movie poster. About the Artist Joe Quesada is a highly accomplished artist in addition to being the key editorial mastermind behind the early 21st century turnaround of Marvel Comics. He began working as an artist in the early 90s for Valiant. His most visible early work was for Marvel on the revamped X-Factor series and for DC on Batman: Sword of Azrael, the series that introduced Azrael, the character who replaced Bruce Wayne as Batman when Bane broke Batman's back in the early 90s. After proving himself as an independent creator/publisher, Quesada came to Marvel as an editor in the late 90s to create Marvel Knights, a more sophisticated line of superhero comics meant to recover the glory days of Frank Miller's Daredevil. Marvel, which was in bankruptcy in the mid-90s, needed a visionary creative leader and found it in Quesada. He was soon named Editor-in-Chief for the entire company and introduced the Ultimate line, which helped usher in a new era of creative brilliance for the company that led to the formation of Marvel Studios.
