DescriptionTime for a step back into the Golden Age of comics as we take a look at Marvel/Timely's World War II freedom fighter, Citizen V! Citizen V had an underground network throughout Europe that he called the V-Batallion. It was through this network that he helped victims of Nazi aggression fight back against their oppressors. Here, he goes to France and helps the resistance stick it to the Third Reich!

Long live Citizen V!!
Alas, he didn't live too long after that. He died before the end of the war, strangled to death by Baron Zemo.

I love V in that top right panel and in the one where's he's got his hand raised. Very cool stuff!
