Description

Mark Texeira is known for several series including Ghost Rider. While this is not 90s Tex art - it is,a really good example of why I am a fan. The colors, the composition and the intensity are all there in this painting.

This painting first caught my interest when it was offered at comic connect. But it sold relatively quickly to someone else. Then recently it was up for sale on CAF. Sadly - couldn't make a deal with the owner. When he put it for auction - I knew I had to go for it.

2nd chances at a piece of art don't always happen. This was my 3rd chance - so was very happy to take it!

I love the worm's eye view perspective on this piece, and I can almost hear the roar of the hellfire rolling off the front tire, as it partially drowns out even the roar of the engine itself! It may not be vintage Tex Ghost Rider, but it does have that look to it. Great stuff!

Classic! I've always loved Tex's Ghost Rider. I used to own the cover to G.R. #13. His paintings are some of the best in comics. Raw action!
