Description

On my Mt Rushmore of Marvel comics artists, STERANKO is definitely one of the four. Love him or hate him, the ever personable, sometimes bombastic, and always entertaining Steranko is an undeniable legend in the field. I was lucky enough to meet him outside of Philly, and spent a good chunk of time listening to some of his stories.

Here's one of Jim's most iconic characters. I hesitate to call it a "headshot". It's a bit on the experimental side, with a lot of white space and abstract style. I really dig its unique look, and Steranko's crativity really shines through (it almost reminds me of a recruitment poster). But, in the end, it's still good old Cap!

Is there anything not to like about Jim Steranko? Certainly not his art, I’d say!...
