Description

I wanted to make up for not commissioning Agnes last year at NYCC, and this is one of the last sketches I got at the show.

Spookley's the main character of a picture book where he has to deal with being a square in a world of circles. The book received an animated adaption which shoehorned in talking bats who sing about eating bugs and what can only be described as the kid version of Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery."

I used the book for reference.
