Description

For those not familiar with vintage paperbacks this is a cover for a Hal Ellson book not a book by Harlan Ellison. The confusion is understandable as both wrote about troubled youth and juvenile delinquents in their early years, For Ellson it was almost his specialty.
This is the cover art for "That Glover Woman" basically a tale of troubled youth having and affair with an older woman similar in the broader sense to "The Graduate"
Oil on Board 7 by 11 inches on a larger board- it is for a 1962 paperback edition of the book.
I picked it up last year because I had never seen a cover painting for an Ellson book.
Realizing the limited wall space in the new house I have decided to pass it on as part of a general thinning of pieces from the collection
Since I own it trades are also possible
Still trying to figure out who the artist is -NOTE A COPY OF THEPAPERBACK comes with the art
