Description

This is a stunning 36" x 48" oil on canvas cover painting for the book titled "Bloodstone", which was originally published in 1975 and written by Karl Edward Wagner and re-published by Centipede Press in 2016 with Patrick J. Jones' re-imagined version. I acquired this piece from Patrick J. Jones at the 2016 Illuxcon. The cover of the original Bloodstone book was created by Frank Frazetta, so Patrick had some very large shoes to fill, and he did an amazing job in his own style.
