Judge Dredd vs. the 80's by Chris Butler (after Liefeld)

This was a piece by Chris that I had eyed off for a long time and was finally able to obtain it when Chris held his annual Black Friday sale on his Etsy store. As a Judge Dredd fan since my teens (as well as the other properties Dredd has his sights on - a T-800 model Terminator, a Predator, a Xenomorph from the Alien franchise and Robocop), this was a must-buy. Obstensibly a homage to the classic cover to New Mutants #87 by Rob Liefeld and Todd McFarlane, which heralded the 90's with the first appearance of Cable. Chris also tipped his hat to McFarlane with the Judge Death portrait in the UPC box.
Chris was also kind enough to add a sketch of Dredd on the mailing envelope, and actually stated that he was hoping that I'd be the one to purchase it - what a great thing to hear!
