DescriptionVisual development animation art director and comic book artist Mingjue Helen Chen works at Disney Feature Animation and contributed to Frankenweenie, Paperman, Wreck-it Ralph, and Big Hero 6. She was an art director on Ralph Wrecks the Internet. I'd first seen her name in connection with the Lovely: Girls of Animation Collaborative Art Book. Helen drew covers for Marvel's Silk and some covers and panel pages for DC's Gotham Academy. This drawing of a girl in Winter clothing turned up while sorting artwork. Purchased from Helen at one of her convention appearances. There is a drawing on the back, too. She'll be at the inaugural Lightbox Expo in Pasadena September 20129.Social/Sharing |
