Leviathan #3 p. 17

That's a good monster page. I most love the bottom panel with the tiny figures in silhouette and the side on view of the giant beasties. 

Absolutely killer 'Leviathan' page, Jason - wow!  The POV shifts (as you point out) are astonishingly awesome, but the visual textures Nick is employing here are truly next-level. The top panel, with its stretchy limbs, bendy cabling, and warped "sun ray" background feel like a psychedelic rock gig poster, setting the stage for the panel 2 showdown (amidst the beautiful, hyper-detailed Pitarra cityscape - love the POV shift here).  Giant monsters that feel confined and bound together thanks to the scorpion tail arcing in towards the head of the giant lizard (also inclined forward).  Panel 3 (with another inspired POV pullout) shows more beautiful detail on the battling monsters, but it's all about the observers and sense of scale here; the clear, empty skies and simple black silhouette of the buildings in the foreground frame everything so wonderfully.

It must be an INCREDIBLE experience to see this in person, in all its astonishing 13x20 glory.  Congrats, Jason, on scoring a PERFECT 'Leviathan' page, and your amazing collection is the perfect home for it!
