Wildstorm Set One boxtopper card with ‘Dane’ sketch by Whilce Portacio.

I visited New York in October 2012. For the city of course but also for Comicon. He and Jim Lee are the reason I started reading comics back in ‘88. I went there with my nephew who is an even bigger fan and customer of Mr. Portacio. After I bought some of his art online I asked him for a “small” favor. ‘Could you please do a Dane sketch on the back of this Wetworks boxtopper?’ It took him over a year to find the time but it was worth the wait. Indeed, all this on the back of a trading card!
