Wonder Woman by Jordi Bernet

A very nice Wonder Woman pin up by the great great Jordi Bernet.

This is actually my very first Bernet. I’ve toyed with the idea of adding a piece by him for a very long time. Either I found those available to be too expensive and/or too small or some other factors came into play, preventing me to get a piece from him.

Then this one popped up on his rep’s site. It was quickly snatched but then by pure chance came available again.

I absolutely love it as it is a nice quiet and very feminine moment of Wonder Woman preparing herself before going to battle. I find her super sexy with her thick curvy legs and tilted high-perched bottom. Her eyes and gaze are also spot on. She is quite sensual without being vulgar (imho).

The story behind this drawing is that it is supposed to be Clara (de Noche) dressed as Wonder Woman for her son´s Birthday (and it was a success as you can imagine) but Jordi thought of the hairpin after he drew a first drawing, so he redrew it again with the pin, which makes it more interesting in my view.

Now if I could find a piece with more erotic tones, I would be a happy collector.
