Description

Martha Barnes, one of the first women of Argentina's comics artist and the oldest one with more than 50 years of work with comics.
Unfortunately there is little talk of women cartoonists, and so I'm really happy when I can find a rare original, an intersting example of an artist like Martha Barnes who made the history of the Argentine comic.

Martha Barnes
"Cartoonist with a long career as a cartoonist. He was born in the town of Moreno, province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied Fine Arts in the province of Mendoza and upon returning to Buenos Aires he began to work professionally at the Muchnik publishing house. Two years later he began drawing for Columba and continued to do so until the publishing house closed its doors. He worked as a cartoonist for Ediciones Record, newspaper La Naci�n, Editorial Difusi�n - Esqui� and various foreign publishers, including the renowned American publisher DC Comics. He also collaborated as an illustrator for Estrada, Codex, Acme, Sigmar, Kapelusz, among others."
