DescriptionEric Smith is the editorial cartoon from the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland, with cartoons also appearing in the Baltimore Sun. Smith has a lovely approach with the pen, combining a juicy outer contour line with some lovely hatching and cross-hatching. In this cartoon, from January 22, 1996, Smith hits on the old political saw of “State Pork”, with county and city citizens riding atop a giant pig.
