Bob Carr Dell Golden Age try out page

Bob Carr Dell was a panel cartoonist who sold to everyone from the Saturday Evening post to sleazy girlie magazines and pulps the equivalent of Spicy mags. He also periodically did cover illustrations for various local and national magazines of all types. His a career ran from the 1930's or late 20's to the 50's. I obtained some pieces from his estate in the 1970's and discovered I still own some!

At some point in the 1940's he did some sample pages for comic books- this is one of them unsigned but on the back has his studio stamp from that period. smaller size than normal Golden age so this could have been a sample or tryout for one of the early graphic novels that were produced by Dell and others around 1949-1950.
